Description
RidgeBack system utilizes a mechanical clamping method comprised of a size-specific gasket lined FRP shell that is engaged with metallic compression bands.
The unique design enables compressive forces to be localized into specific areas of interest for greater sealing capability. The system is designed for the repair of active leaks up to 150 psi. The system’s gasket type is matched to the appropriate chemical and temperature service of the piping repair section. The RidgeBack system is typically used in conjunction with an additional over-wrap system determined by chemical service to provide an extended service leak repair. The system also offers a non-intrusive, easy-to-use piping remediation method that can add structural reinforcement while functioning as a pressure containment device.
